I just noticed I have not posted anything this year so I decided to share some random thoughts going through my mind.
This year has been a roller-coaster of events in the country, on the media and everywhere you can think of.
Something is trending in the morning and in a matter of hours, the world has moved on to the next thing.
Each day comes with a ray of hope for something better but it may not go as planned.
So here is the teaser, do you find a safe place/time to relax; to take a deep breathe and enjoy some serenity outside of the chaos?
It could be the period when you are driving/being driven from one place to another and you decide to listen to some cool music, or taking some time just before you step out for the day, or after retiring for the day, or engaging in some extra-curricular activities to take your mind off stress, or the time spent to pray to God, or time taken for fruitful religious activities, or going on a date with or without anyone.
The chaos is so much that we all need that safe place/time to recuperate and we need to actively factor it into our lives, else we would one day discover that we lived for so long but barely lived.
On a final note today, I leave you with the words of Diane Ackerman;
“I don’t want to get to the end of my life and find that I lived just the length of it. I want to have lived the width of it as well.”
P.S: If you have not read my blog post in a while, please raise your hand!
