THE REASON

Okay so this is my first attempt at publishing a poem. Kindly encourage a sister and drop your thoughts.

I smile and its real
Not because I have got a deal
But because I have seen sorrow
And it got deep to the marrow
Thus, highly appreciated  is a happy moment.

I laugh and its hearty
Not because life is a surety
But because I have seen grief
And I know life is but brief
Thus, highly  appreciated  is a joyful moment.

I live and its to the full
Not because I am a fool
But because I have  seen death
And I know health  is wealth
Thus, highly appreciated  is a living moment.

    this is insightful, I guess it was coined out of experience. I pray God give us (His Children) victory from time to time to overcome life challenges.
